Spirituality is the wide concept of believing in something other than oneself. It might include religious traditions centred on believing in a higher power, but it can also include a holistic belief in an individual’s connectedness to others and to the planet as a whole.

Spirituality provides a worldview that says there is more to life than what people see and feel on a sensory and physical level.

Instead, it implies that something higher binds all beings to one another and to the universe itself. It also aims to provide answers to concerns regarding the meaning of life, how people are connected to one another, cosmic truths, and other mysteries of human existence.

However, most of us in the current world have accepted a hackneyed existence filled with many distractions.

We move through life with little or no faith, avoiding the emptiness of our lives. The shallowness of our relationships, neurotic difficulties, and inescapable loneliness haunt us incessantly.

Akshay Agarwal, a top business trainer in India and multitude of the spiritual speakers in India and around the world stress upon the fact that people whether or not they are in a stressful corporate environment, must embark on a spiritual adventure into uncharted territory within themselves.

Let’s see what spirituality can do for folks:

  • You might have a stronger sense of purpose, tranquilly, hope, and meaning.
  • You may feel more confident, self-esteem, and self-control.
  • It can assist you in making sense of your life events.
  • When you’re sick, it can help you feel stronger and recover faster.
  • Those who are part of a spiritual group may get more assistance.
  • You can concentrate on improving your relationships with yourself and others.

So, now you’d think that I am not having any problem mentally or coping with stress per say. In that case, is spirituality still for me?

Spirituality doesn’t claim to solve any problems. It shows you a whole new and more adventurous way of life. It is just like another sport you play to have fun or take your mind off certain things.

  • So, is it for you? Yes.
  • Can it help you cope better? Hell, yes.
  • Is it boring? Initially, yes, but what will come next will blow your mind.
