Just a few short weeks after trying the knot in a courthouse wedding, Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens said “I do” again during a second ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on May 6.
The Olympic gymnast initially revealed the news on Instagram on April 22, writing “I do 🤍 officially owens 🤍,” alongside a series of images of her and the Houston Texans player during their first celebration.
Biles told Vogue that ahead of the lavish second ceremony that took place on the Umi Terrace of the Nobu Los Cabos, she had “never been so nervous in my life.”
“[But] I felt confident walking down the aisle. Seeing Jonathan at the altar was a dream. Our guests were cheering for everyone. I was shocked by the love in the air. The ceremony was so beautiful and dreamy,” she continued.

The 31-year-old daughter of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg married Nicholas Bagory in a civil ceremony on April 22 ahead of a religious ceremony to come the following week.
Following the service, the newlyweds greeted a crowd a well-wishers outside of the town hall Luxembourg City before returning to the Grand Ducal Palace via the Rue de la Reine.

On March 11, the couple exchanged vows aboard the Sun Dream yacht in Fort Lauderdale during a a four-hour cruise up the Intercoastal Waterway in a ceremony that was officiated by the captain of the yacht.
“The moment I saw the yacht photos and where the ceremony would take place, I knew I wanted a big floral arch to say our vows under,” Papa told PEOPLE of the decor. “I wanted something really simplistic and romantic, lots of candles and beautiful red roses.”
Papa’s gown served as her “something new” and held a special meaning. From Morilee by Madeline Gardner, the dress was given to her by a late fan whose wife runs Oconee Bridal in Eatonton, Georgia.

Celebrity wedding and events planner David Tutera designed the elaborate 300-guest, three-day celebration and transformed the resort’s Palm Ballroom into a “whimsical, magical and beautiful forest” for the epic celebration, he told PEOPLE.
The space was draped in woodland mosses and towering greenery including 6- to 15-ft.-tall silver tip fir, maple, oak and olive trees. Designers also incorporated hybrid delphiniums, French tulips and garden roses plus dark and glossy gardenia foliage.
Tutera not only planned the event, but was an integral part of the day, officiating the ceremony.

“When my fiancé and I first started dating nine years ago, he took me to a Band of Horses concert,” Sophie told PEOPLE of the song’s signifcance. “I was so tired from filming our reality show Shannon & Sophie back then, I fell asleep on his shoulder. It’s like what queer people have been doing forever anyway. We’re committing to one another and starting our life together. We got to get married by Valentine’s Day by Elvis. How iconic is that? What a bucket list item!”
For the ceremony, Windham-Burke wore a Queen of Sparkles White Feather Ring dress that was covered in images of large engagement rings and complete with a feathered skirt.
