Five tricks to be followed when the smartphone hangs

1. Restart the phone

If the phone hangs, first turn it off and restart it. If the phone cannot be restarted normally, restart it by holding the power and volume buttons together.

2. Phone capacity test

Using most of the phone’s capacity disrupts the normal functioning of the phone. And so to solve the hang problem, you have to enter the settings option of the phone and see how much free space is available. Unnecessary images or videos should be deleted when more than 90 percent of the data is stored. Also cache memory stored in RAM should be deleted regularly.

3. App or operating system updates

Sometimes apps or outdated operating systems can also cause the phone to hang. For this, you should always use the latest version of the operating system. If the phone hangs while using a particular app, it means there is a problem with the app. The app needs to be updated to fix the issue. If necessary, uninstall and reinstall the app to resolve the issue.

4. Factory reset

If the phone cannot be used normally after using the methods mentioned above, then the phone must be factory reset with necessary data backup. Remember, factory reset deletes all data on the phone.

5. Parts problem solving

A component or hardware problem can also cause the phone to hang. In such cases contact the authorized service center to solve the hardware problem of the phone.
